Hello! I’m Maiquel, a geographer with a PhD in climatology, and one of the team members behind this page. I’ve been fascinated by maps since I was a child. In 2018, I launched an Instagram page called @thinkaboutmaps to share both my own creations and other maps that I liked. Over time, the page grew, and people started showing interest in buying prints of my maps. This led me to create this website and open stores on platforms like Etsy.
I’ve always found joy in exploring museums, learning about art, and traveling, which inspired me to offer my maps as unique pieces of decor.
